Welcome to SSRC, Dr. Kristen Emond!
Spine and Sports Rehabilitation Center is pleased to announce that our professional staff has expanded to include Kristen Emond.
Kristen received her undergraduate degree from Boston College and then proceeded to work at a school for students with special needs. It was there that she discovered her passion for physical therapy and helping others achieve their goals of independence and full function. She then went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Belmont University in Nashville, TN.
With experience participating in a variety of sports, Kristen enjoys working with all types of athletes and those with orthopedic conditions. Like other staff at SSRC, she prefers to take an individualized, whole body approach when treating patients in order to address the true source of the issue. She also has a strong interest in treating patients with limb differences after training in amputee-specific care, skills she learned at Walter Reed Hospital.
Outside of work, Kristen enjoys a variety of hobbies, including recreational sports, hiking, learning to play guitar, and training her new puppy.
